  • Picked one up in the box at a yard sale for $15.00 with the kit lens. An awesome (and extremely lucky find) but it has been a great travel camera/take with on the go compared to my Fuji T3 / Canon 90D. Which lens would you recommend someone invest in that are compact/good quality?

  • This video was helpful, as I’m debating obsessively on which camera to buy. I have a $550 budget… this seems like the one, but the age of the camera concerns me. Either way, thanks for posting.

  • I bought my wife one, now it's mine……hahaha. I took it to Shanghai and shot in available light at The Bund using the kit lens (that was all I had). But wow, I was really impressed with the results – dynamic range and low-light performance. This one is a keeper for me. Been eyeing the Sigma 16mm f1.4 lately though…..

  • The Sony a6100 is currently going for $600 for body and used around $500 or even less. The a6000 is great, but the a6100 is the better beginner camera with 2020 tech and more future proof if you're starting brand new and looking for value.

  • If cameras are like customizable like pc… Imagine just changing the mother board and processor on the a6000🤯

  • Its crazy because the best photo I've ever taken was on an a6000 and ive used a ton of the newer ff cameras lol. Now i have a z50 and this camera is another great one.

  • I love the a6000. Such a basic camera. Thanks for breaking it down for us. Some people are just stuck in their little world and worrying too much about the best gear and they forget to just create 💁‍♂️

  • Took both my A7RII and A6000 to a trip to NZ. My most amazing photo ever taken over there was with the A6000. The most important part of a camera is the head behind the eyepiece

  • it's NOT worth it. it's old and shitty camera. and because someone doesn't have the money to buy a new good camera, doesn't mean an old cheap camera will do the job…

  • Great video Jason. The A6000 is a great camera and I have used it for years. Its nice and light for hiking and travel. It's image quality is very good. In fact on some occasions I still use the earlier NEX 5T and great results. Thanks for sharing.
