IoT devices such as speakers are great products, but they’re a point of vulnerability when incorrectly secured onto a network. Today, on this episode of Cyber Weapons Lab, we’ll show you how hackers and pentesters could use Python to take control of Sonos speakers.
In our example, we’re showing off a simple seven-line Python script that will prevent someone on the same network from playing music at all on the Sonos speaker. They won’t be able to play music on it until the denial-of-service loop is stopped.
