  • 600th LIKE! Btw, I have a question. Once you identify which ad set is converting more than the other, how do you kill or turn off the ad set that isn't converting so you can invest more money into the converting ad set? (Obviously you're going to waste your marketing dollars)

  • When you split test , does FB set up a different Ad Set for each different Ad? If so, isn't this a bad idea because you need at least 50 conversions/week at the ad set level for ad optimisation , so if you have too many ad sets you may not get adequate data?

  • Thanks so much for this Video!! quick question,

I can use several ads in one adset and then know which ad performs best. So why should a / b split test be used?

  • Hi Jason! I did a test. What should I do after – should I duplicate the better working ad or I should create a new one (having in mind the objective is the same but there are some more details I want to change)? Thanks!

  • so I'm guessing once you have your slipt test results you cancel the not so effective ones and run the most effective one only

  • If we create a split test with the variable of the creatives, and not the adience, so we have the same audience, my question in this case is that both versions A and B of the ad it can be shown to the people? can we do something that to the people that has already seen the A ad, not show to them the B test?

  • I have Two question about the billing..

Lets say i run a campaign for 100$ and i have two ads in the ad set, for split test. Will it be 100$ for each ad? Or Will the 100$ be divided equally between the two ads? Or will the 100$ just go to the best performing ad?
Second question.. how long will the test be running for? Till the end of the campaign? Or is it stopping automatically when it knows which ad is the best for the campaign?
Thank you for your time, I really appreciate it.

  • So theres the option of choosing 5 different headlines, buttons, etc. and facebook will split test combinations of those. Where do I find the performances of these different combinations while the campaign is running so I can disable the ones that dont perform? Thx for the content man, appreciate it!

  • Thank you for the information! I have an easy question: you run the split test ad for a determined period of time and then you create a new ad with the best variables? How much money you would spend on a split test ad?
